Crazy Mike–(Mike Vallez), Founder Crazymikesapps.com, Editor, and Chief Creative Content Provider

My story: Social Media Strategist USIS, retired Police Officer (Tampa, Florida) and registered iPhone developer. I’ve had a strong affinity for smartphones since these devices first emerged. My first was a Palm Treo, then a couple of Blackberrys, a Samsung BlackJack, and finally the iPhone. I currently run a 32GB black iPhone 3GS and plan to upgrade every time a new iPhone comes out. Since my first iPhone, I’ve had an unhealthy interest in iPhone apps. By this, I mean I spend hours every day, week, month studying iPhone apps. What do I study? Things like, what are the best apps in all categories? What does the app offer? Is the app well made? Does it perform to its description?, etc. My main focus on iPhone apps was from a consumer perspective. However, since I started reviewing iPhone apps, I have developed some specific iPhone app marketing skills, including:

  • how to preplan your iPhone app for the market
  • iPhone app branding
  • SEO for your iPhone app
  • iPhone app creative content and user interface development
  • iPhone app project management.

In addition to my love for the iPhone and my knowledge of iPhone apps, I have extensive expertise with all aspects of social media. I have managed numerous Twitter accounts, Facebook Fan Pages, Blogs, and Linkedin Groups and have provided social media consultancy to companies such as iPhone Life Magazine.

Social media is a key tool for iPhone app marketing, and I use this tool with my advertising efforts due to the huge benefits this can provide to app developers. My app reviews are honest, good natured and sometimes sarcastic. My goal is to ensure the consumer is spending their money wisely on iPhone apps, services, and accessories, not to alienate the developer. To contact me by email: CrazyMike

Angry Mr. Anderson–Elusive Consultant, Contributing Author Angry Mr. Anderson is kinda like Mean Mr. Mustard, if you’re old enough to remember an obscure Beatle song. Other than that, there’s really not much else worth knowing about the mean bastard, except one thing. Angry Mr. Anderson will publish scathing reviews of apps he believes violate the App Code of Honor, which simply states: App developers will attempt to provide value, regardless of price. This includes so-called free apps, which are really loss leaders designed to pull money out of your pocket one way or another. Angry Mr. Anderson understands that not every app is going to be great. However, he believes the blatantly greedy and stupid must be punished. To contact him by email: Mr. Anderson

Tracie Dagucon is her family’s resident executive assistant, nurse, chauffeur, coach, maid, cook, Lego technician, groomer, food aficionado (specializing in picky 7 year olds), lumber, avid coffee drinker and iPhone AppNerd. During the day, she performs the exec asst. duties with the right hand while rearranging any of the other duties with the right. One night after too many mochacinos (and a healthy GO TO BED battle), she decided the book used to house her “to do” and grocery lists was a little outdated and prone to randomly losing things. So she zoomed into iTunes to find an app to help organize her life. Three hours later, as the birds were chirping and the sun was making its debut for the day, she had realized she should have organized that search better….but had also found some interesting games! Email Tracie here: culturalenigma@gmail.com or find her on Twitter @culturalenigma.

Joshua Tucker–Josh is 18 years old who is currently enrolled at Folsom Lake College. His ambition is to transfer to UC School here in his native California to complete his undergrad degree in a business marketing major and then continue on to earn a graduate degree from who knows where! His love and fascination with his iPhone 3GS and its features has led him to begin blogging here on CrazyMikesApps. He’s also a competitive gymnast in a specialized form of gymnastics called Acro (Acrobatic-Gymnastics) and is currently a two-time national champion. On top of school, gymnastics, and other various activities, Josh earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America on March 25, 2008. He’s an extremely outgoing guy and enjoys spending time with his wonderful girlfriend, friends, participating in outdoor activities, and much more; he enjoys doing just about anything with anybody. Email him for various questions, concerns, or application review suggestions at joshua@crazymikesapps.com and follow him on Twitter @JoshMTucker to view various news and updates regarding application reviews and the illustrious iPhone (plus personal tweets of course)!

Mister Ominous–Author Mister Ominous is here to provide you with reviews not only of the latest and greatest apps, but also those apps you should avoid like the plague. He currently uses an all-white iPhone 3GS. His goal is to help you stretch your dollar as far as it can possibly be stretched in the iTunes App Store. He’ll find you FREE gems and help you avoid paying for clunkers. He’ll also provide Q&A on any apps that he reviews. Just hit him up on Twitter @MisterOminous
