The Angry 2048 game by Skynetric has an Angry Birds influence combined with 2048 puzzle gameplay, providing for a fun and unique puzzle game that is challenging, addictive, and hard to put down!
Just about everyone has heard of or played Angry Birds, the iconic mobile physics puzzle game featuring the infamous Angry Birds who are trying to stop mischievous pigs. While not as popular as Angry Birds, the 2048 game has stormed onto the mobile scene challenging players to match game pieces to get to the coveted 2048 puzzle piece. Cleverly, Skynetric has re-imagined these game elements to create a unique physics puzzle game. Find out if you have what it takes to beat this Angry 2048 app!
Angry 2048 Overview
Angry 2048 features a slingshot that you shoot an “angry number tile” from towards a long column of numbers. You’re trying to match your angry tile with the same number in the column. Essentially, this is a super easy game in terms of understanding and learning how to play. But like Angry Birds, it takes good aim and a bit of luck to hit the right spot. Angry 2048 requires you to hit the numbered angry block with the same numbered block in the column, as already explained. But you have to hit it exactly, not partially or you lose 1 of your 5 lives – this game is that simple.
Each time you hit the angry block with the correct matching block in the column, you double that block. And if any of the blocks above or below match the doubled block, they double it and provide you points. The idea is to continue doubling blocks until you get to the 2048 block, but this ain’t easy. You will quickly find that the developer, Skynetric, has designed a very challenging game that will more than likely draw you back to Angry 2048 game after game. And if that is not CrAzY enough, they have added a 4096 tile and beyond for those of you who think you have what it takes to get that far.
Angry 2048 Gameplay
While this game is easy to play, it is definitely not easy to win. The aim is such that it is rather difficult to hit the correct corresponding block with your angry block each time. But, it is not entirely impossible either. My suggestion is to take a mental snapshot of the angle of your slingshot and power for each successful shot, and then try to duplicate it. And since this game is free for the Android, iOS devices, and Kindle Fire devices, you can’t go wrong downloading it and giving it a try.
I will guarantee that you’ll want to play more than 1 game, and that you will not be able to beat my high score of 720 in your first game. While 720 does not seem like a lot of points, it was good enough to grab me the 26th spot overall for all Google+ players.
Angry 2048 is a fun and addictive physics puzzle game that will definitely give you a run for your money. It’s also completely free-to-play. Give it a try and get your free download using the app store links below. Enjoy!
