AppZilla 3 : 150 in 1! - Holy Applications Batman!

AppZilla3: 150 in 1 is like having your iPhone automatically come fully loaded with apps — right on your iPhone. This Utilities application comes jam packed with a 150 apps from numerous categories. The folks at Fossil Software have been busy over the last year shoehorning even more apps into their AppZilla series iPhone applications. This latest offering from AppZilla3: 150 in 1! adds 30 new applications since their last title AppZilla2: 120 in 1!. You may be asking yourself — what could this app have that it did not already have?

That’s a good question, and here is a partial answer: Video Poker, Meditation, Punch Clock, War, Blackjack, Censor Cam, Google Tasks, Zip Codes, amongst 22 other apps. This application has a slick user interface and really appears to look like a home screen for your iPhone once opened (okay, not technically, but still similar) with page 9 full pages of apps (16 per page) and 6 on the 10th page. There is an 11th page, but this is an advertisement for other apps, which seems to be becoming a trend in paid applications. While the 11th page ads are not in your face, they will still get looks and taps, this was unheard of in the early days of apps, but as this modem of media evolves, you can expect that advertisers will further invade. AppZilla3: 150 in 1! is an awesome app for only $0.99. Personally, I would pay $0.99 just for the Stink Bomb app that allows you to set an alarmed virtual “Whoopee Cushion” to pull as a prank on someone. The fart has a super tasty sound (really gross), is long lasting and will leave a stain on your iPhone (jk). For you youngsters who do not know what a “Whoopee Cushion” is, here ya go: Whoopee Cushion (via Wikipedia). For those of you who need a visual, see the “Whoopee Cushion” image below the app images. By the way, I had a least a half dozen of these as a kid and they’re still great, silly fun for family, friends, parties, etc. today. There are loads of camera apps, utility apps like a Protractor, and just way too many others to list in this review.

If you look at this app strictly from a monetary perspective, and just say 1/2 the apps in this app are worth $0.99, then after you spend your $0.99 you will have saved $73.26, which is pretty significant. You truly cannot go wrong with AppZilla3: 150 in 1!, although there are haters out there that could think of something. True not all apps are great in this application, but all those I checked out worked during my testing, and you can have your say and rate each of the 150 apps, as well as provide Fossil Software feedback so they can make AppZilla4: 200 in 1! even better.
