Barbecues and grills always come to mind when I think of Father’s Day, 4th of July, and other fun outdoor activities going on during the summer season. They all just seem to go hand in hand. And luckily for all of us, there is a free barbecue app called Barbecues & Grilling that should be enough to inspire you and your family to fire up that old grill – and maybe even buy a new one.
No matter what your grilled food preference is, this handy barbecue app includes a nice variety of options the whole family can enjoy, starting with traditional hot dog and hamburger recipes, chicken, and much more beyond that. In this food Food & Drink app you’ll find 400+ recipes that’ll tell you how to prepare sauces and condiments, different meat types, vegetables, and even pizza.
The Barbecues & Grilling app comes with recipes for BBQ style, grilling and char grilling, which includes step-by-step instructions on how to prepare and cook a lot of great looking and amazing-sounding food. If you’re a grilling enthusiast, there are definitely a lot of things to like about this iPhone and iPad barbecue app. To start, recipes are grouped into helpful categories with approximately 15 recipes in each: All recipes, Bacon & Ham, Beef & Lamb & Veal, Chicken, Pork, Prawn, Salmon, Sausage, Seafood & Fish, Veggie, Potato, Sauces & Condiments, Low-Carb, Mince, and even categories for Father’s Day, For Family, and For Kids.
And every recipe in this free barbecue app comes with serving size, prep and cook time, ingredients, and instructions. And many even come with helpful money saving tips and extra notes. Barbecues & Grilling makes it quick and easy to search and find food recipes. You can favorite the recipes you like for easy reference later and share with others through email. And as a mini bonus, this grilling and barbecue app even offers a handful of wallpapers.
The only things that would make this mobile app even better would be an automatic serving calculator that would adjust for the number of people you’re serving and rating reviews by real users for the recipes in the app.
Since this is a free app, it is ad supported, which is no big deal because developers need to make some money for their hard work too. However, the placement of the advertising (bottom of screen) on the home page partially covers one of the food categories (Veggies) making it a little cumbersome to access. And if you find this bothersome, the developer does have an $0.99 in-app purchase to remove ads. Other than that, everything else about this app is great! So what are you waiting for? Download this app and get out there and fire up the grill for some awesome tastes of summer!
