Brushes – Drawing On The Go

Have you ever been outside away from home doing something like taking a walk and all of the sudden you see something amazing, like a gorgeous sunset and wanted to draw it but couldn’t? But now you can! Brushes is a great iPhone app that you can take wherever you go to draw amazing things you see on the fly. Or, you can sit in the comfort of your own home and draw anything that comes to mind there. The app is full of features that focus on simplicity and usability, to help you draw whatever you want the best that you can, and as quickly as you can. When you open the app, it has a “Gallery” with 4 drawings (which look quite nice in my opinion). Then, you can import a picture, take a new one, or start a brand new drawing. After starting a drawing, you can (of course) choose a brush to use. There are 6 buttons on the bottom for quick use. An undo and redo button, a brush button to choose your brush (there are many), a layers button, a dropper tool to choose a specific color already used, and a color picker button with a huge selection of colors. You can then fine tune the shades of colors and everything. It gives you the tools to draw/paint great things. Check it out!
