Clear (by Realmac Software) is an intuitive productivity “todo” app that works with mostly swipes, pinches and pulls. As iPhone applications mature, we are starting to see functionality (in apps) presented in a super simplistic user interface that is quite amazing. This iPhone productivity app rocketed to the top of the iTunes Apps Store in a mere few days, probably due to the stupid simple user interface that sheds a spotlight on the iPhone’s technology. There are 3 basic layers to the app, the settings/main list area, the list area, and inside a list area. All of the areas are accessed either with swipes, pinches or pulls, making the task of managing “todos” enjoyable and downright fun.
The Clear app in its current state is fantastic, but I would like to see iCloud sync capability, as well as other 3rd party app syncing to take my ultra fast and fun todo app into other apps that I use regularly. There are a variety of settings that you can change such as themes and the like, but as far as productivity apps go, this is a groundbreaking app where the developers thought outside-of-the-box departing from the overwhelming oodles and boodles of functionality that require a manual to figure out, to one of the cleanest and easiest todo apps I have come across to date.
