Don’t want to go to jail for a D.U.I., well, there is an app for that…

Update 08/08/09-The Drink Tracker Breathalyzer app gets a very powerful upgrade that would make any alcohol consuming individual who drives a fool not to shell out a couple bucks for this app. New to the update of this app is the ability to set a destination, use GPS locating services, and find transportation through a variety of travel methods (taxi, walk, bus, drive). You can also communicate with others from the app through talk, SMS, or email. If you party and party hard, but you want to stay away from “Johnny Law” you should probably check this app out. The Drink Tracker Breathalyzer” app is still $1.99 in the iTunes App Store. Mike Vallez

Okay first things first, if you get intoxicated and think this app will help you then your just plain dumb. The Drink Tracker Breathalyzer app is meant to be an blood alcohol content (BAC) estimator, it is not the end all be all. The developers at slappmedotcom did a great job creating a solid app that can help you stay out of county (jail). You simply set your profile in the app, and add drinks according to your session. A session would be a period of time you choose to consume alcohol (not rocket science folks). The nice thing about this app is you can set your BAC level per session so you don’t drive drunk (don’t do it). This app could use a search function for the closest taxi service, so someone who is crocked could easily get some transportation from inside the app. Drink Tracker Breathalyzer costs $1.99 in the iTunes App Store.
