Long has it been a standard for girl’s to play dress up. I think it is part of their DNA. No, I know it is part of their DNA. I remember back to when my daughters were little and my oldest daughter at the time (4yoa) totally dolled up the other with clothes and makeup (victim daughter 2yoa). The developers at MoseCode have brought “dress up” to the iPhone with their iPhone app Dress Up Studio.
Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but I actually enjoyed using this app while testing it for this review. Upon opening the app you choose which of the 3 virtual dolls to dress up by swiping horizontal. Once you selection has been made you can dress your doll (shirt, pants, shoes), change the background, change the little pet creature all with easy to figure out navigation buttons on the bottom of the screen. There is also a picture of a house, which takes you to the home screen. The camera icon lets the user take a picture of the “dressed up doll” to place into their iPhone camera roll. There are over 200 clothing options and 23 background choices, which provide a huge amount of value for just $0.99. Dress Up Studio receives 4.5 CrazyMikes Head’s for value, creativity, and A+ kids app. CM
