Get In The Picture with Self Timer for iPhone

The Self Timer iPhone app (by Apimac) helps you to get into the picture thanks to the time delay photo snapping feature, and includes some other nice options that make this a handy photography application for your iPhone. This simple and intuitive app focuses on providing you with an easy-to-use camera timer option that ranges from no timer to a 15 second delay timer, and several additional settings in between. There is also a setting that allows you to set the number of photos that you would like shot at one time, ranging from none to 4. Now, when using, say, the 15 second timer and the 4 photos option, the first timer will be 15 seconds, which is counted down with a single beep and progresses to a double beep 2 to 3 seconds before the first photo is shot. The remaining 3 photos will only have a double beep, again, which is 2 to 3 seconds. This function is great for getting yourself into a shot or taking several photos of a group with the hopes of getting at least 1 of the 4 shots to turn out great — with the time delay option the odds are pretty good. There is an additional Fun Mode that provides a squeaky toy sound to get the photo targets’ attention. Another aspect of functionality is the ability to upload photos directly from the app to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, or through email, as well as Air Print. In addition, Self Timer also features Geo Tagging for each photo, which can be turned on or off in location settings. There are more settings that include multiple flash settings, various ways to send images for increased or decreased quality/speed and more.

Self Timer iPhone App ReviewSelf Timer iPhone App Review

I found this application extremely easy to use and took around 30 photos testing out the various time delay settings. They all worked great and allowed me time to move around in between the pictures (check out the video for a complete demonstration of this video). Self Timer is an intuitive and simple-to-use self timer photography app that should get you into all those photo moments, you know, the ones you’ve been trying to avoid. Self Timer iPhone App Developers Description

iOS iPhone

Self Timer allows you to delay the shutter release, giving you time between pushing the button and taking the actual photo. Once you push the button, a beeping sound is emitted which becomes faster as the moment of the shot approaches.

Imagine it’s 16:27 and the sun is about to disappear behind the Matterhorn. Your ski instructor just broke his leg and you and your snow buddies are stranded in the Swiss Alps. Now, who is going to take that picture for your Facebook page? Self Timer to the rescue! Push, pose, beep, smile

Whatever your adventure, photography buffs will appreciate that the time delayed shutter release reduces camera shake on long exposure photographs. Self Timer allows a delay of 3, 5, 10 or 15 seconds. With Self Timer in your first aid kit you’ll always get the perfect shot!
