Will Candy Crush Saga will satisfy your sweet tooth? Find out when by playing King.com’s new iPhone and iPad game Candy Crush Saga. This high quality match 3 game features plenty of tempting candy and while easy at first, turns into a rather challenging game that may require power-ups to beat the over 100 levels of sweet candy gameplay. While King.com only has a couple of apps in the iTunes App Store currently (Bubble Witch Saga and Candy Crush Saga), they are both very well made match 3 iOS Universal Games apps.
Candy Crush Saga revolves around a fantastical candy world along a unique candy train track that takes you from level to level through areas named Candy Town, Candy Factory, and other candy inspired places. However, as the game goes on the level difficulty gets rather tough. The only downside to this game is the charms and power-ups are somewhat expensive. The charms are much more expensive than the power-ups. Power-ups start at only $0.99 for 3x Color Bombs that take out all of 1 candy color at once on the game board. There is a Coconut Wheel power-up that adds Coconut Wheels to the game board, which provides a special action destroying candy, and these start at $3.99. But the charms start at $16.99 for the Charm of Life (which gives you 3+ lives), and rise to $39.99 and possibly more. I don’t know because I have not unlocked the last charm yet. While I could see forking out a $0.99 or in some cases $3.99, I have never spent $16.99 on any in app purchase (IAP), but to each his own, but buyers beware, especially those with children.
Overall, Candy Crush Saga is an awesomely fun iPhone and iPad match 3 game that provides countless hours of sweet visual fun through over 100+ levels of eventually, significantly difficult gameplay, for me, it is a challenge to play without spending any money.
