How To Put A Wallpaper On Your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

Wallpaper applications are by far some of the most popular apps in the iTunes App Store. That is probably why there are so many available (some good, some bad, and some really bad). Here is a quick tutorial on how to install or place an image as a wallpaper onto your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. I would not consider this to be complicated stuff, but there are times Apple makes things a little confusing — because there are a couple of different ways to put a wallpaper in place on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Here are the 2 ways we suggest that you add any image, from either your Photo Stream & Camera Roll (1st way) or from your Camera Roll or any Album (2nd way):

How To Put A Wallpaper On Your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch Tips & Tricks

1st Way:
1) Go to Settings, open
2) Scroll down to “Brightness & Wallpaper” setting, open
3) Tap on image of device under “Wallpaper” title
4) Select Wallpaper, Camera Roll, or My Photo Stream
5) Set selected image as your Lock Screen “Set Lock Screen,” Home Screen “Set Home Screen” or use the image for both your Lock Screen and Home Screen “Set Both.” You can also assign different images for the Lock Screen and Home Screen by following these same steps with different images assigned to both (see below for Lock Screen and Home Screen explanations)

2nd Way:
1) Go to Photos native iOS app, open
2) Select the location where you want to look for images from: Photos, Photo Stream, Albums (created albums or Camera Roll (default album), or Places
3) Select an image of choice by tapping on it

4) Look for square box icon (in upper right) with right-facing arrow coming out of the top (share symbol), tap on this
5) Select “Use as Wallpaper”
6) Set selected image as your Lock Screen “Set Lock Screen,” Home Screen “Set Home Screen” or use the image for both your Lock Screen and Home Screen “Set Both.” You can also assign different images for the Lock Screen and Home Screen by following these same steps with different images assigned to both (see below for Lock Screen and Home Screen explanations)

Lock Screen = screen you see when you initially awaken your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch from sleep mode

Home Screen = screen you see once you enter your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. *Your true iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch home screen is accessed by pressing the bottom button 1x on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, but for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch wallpaper placement Apple considers “home screen” as all of your screens once inside your device
