Being able to tie a tie for a man is (or should be) a simple thing to do. However, I only had one lesson from my step-father some 30 years ago showing me how to tie a certain style knot, and for the life of me I have only been able to tie this incorrect knot as an adult (at least my age says I am an adult). This FREE, “How to Tie a Tie” Android app makes the tie-tying task much easier to learn by providing simple instructions (with pictures) on 12 tie methods (Half-Windsor, Windsor, Atlantic,Bow Tie, Pratt, and others), comes with the choice of either a Mirror or Normal tie viewing mode, and each tie instruction has steps from untied to looking sharp tied — that make sense.

Each tie type is visually well done with subtle animations that will walk you through an easy step-by-step process to learn the specific knot that you’ve selected.
