Incredibly Cool iPad Model Kit iPad App – PLapp

iphone app reviews

PLapp, by SEMS International, is an award-winning virtual model assembly kit featuring five 3D creations, complete with cool sound effects that add authenticity to the creative building process. If there are any of you older folks out there or hobby types, you’ve probably bought and tried to put together a plastic model at least once in your lifetime. PLapp is an extraordinary iPad entertainment application that allows you to build 5 different models (currently), similar to the old school way but now in a very cool touch screen way. This app is as close as you can get to building a real model from a kit, albeit on an iPad and without getting “stoned” from smelling the glue.

Some of the 5 different models to select from are harder than others to complete. How do you build a model on your iPad — watch the video to find out. Just in case you didn’t watch the video, model building is completed by touching and dragging certain points on 2 different pieces, then using a slider you will attach the pieces (this could be considered the “glue”) in a truly cool virtual way — you’ll even hear snapping sounds. Once your model is complete, you can paint it, decal it, and share it on several social networks and in email. PLapp is probably one of the coolest iPad apps you’ve never heard of, and this is why Apple selected this application as the 2011 Rewind app of the year in the entertainment category for the South Korea iTunes App Store — which is why this app is on sale until 12/29/11 from $4.99 down to $0.99, so hurry and get this one today and get building your own incredibly cool virtual iPad model.
