Contrary to popular opinion, Christmas is not actually over after December 25th each year. At least not for those diehards who want to hold on to the playfulness of the season, all year round — you know who you are. One such application will do just that; it is the Elf Soundboard Android entertainment app, which is FREE on your Android smartphone. This soundboard app will keep you in the Christmas spirit all year round with up to 60 different sound bytes and songs (yes, songs) from the original Elf movie starring Will Ferrel. I really enjoy watching the movie each year with my family, so a particular favorite of mine in this app is the “belching” sound byte that features a 15 to 30 second massive burp (after Buddy the elf drinks a whole 2 liter bottle of soda pop, in the movie ).
This app’s only flaw is that the sound bytes are not as crisp as one would like, and it is very apparent the developer recorded these on less then steller equipment. Nonetheless, the Elf Soundboard (by APPSBYDESIGN) is a must have soundboard app for those who want to keep the Christmas sensation alive all year round and especially for those in love with the original Elf movie.
