iScab – How Many Scabs Does It Take To Fill Your Jar?

iScab (by BEEFBRAIN) is a virtual scab-picking game where you’ll scratch and collect your crusty prizes, then save them in a virtual scab jar. But, there is a technique to this gross game, as well as un-lockable achievements, chances to beat your friends on the Apple Game Center leader board and special scabs. I’m pretty sure that everyone has given in to the urge to pick or scratch their own scab a time or two — now, there’s an app for that. This iPhone game challenges you to fill multiple scab jars to proudly display your expert scab-picking abilities; obviously, some will be better than others at this game and some won’t bother because they’ll be grossed out all together. The object of this iPhone game is to fill up jars by picking virtual scabs, including some special scabs like a cat scab and a Jesus scab to name a few. Believe it or not, there is a proper scab-picking technique that you must utilize to be more successful. You start by swiping your finger up and down, side to side (etc.), removing the brown round pieces of scab to reveal the fresh, pink recently healed skin. But, hang on there, you will also come across some skin that is inflamed a darker red, which means this skin is not quite healed. There are a couple of ways to deal with this: you can stop and wait for a push notification to let you know that the scab has hardened and is ready for more picking, or you can risk it and try to scratch the whole scab off, which will cause you to have to wait a longer period of time while the scab heals itself and then you can finish the job.

silly iPhone appsiphone app review

Once you pick your scab completely it is placed into your scab jar for you to gawk at, and you can also share these marvels with friends and family on Twitter, Facebook, or through email. iScab is a humorous virtual iPhone game that has a bit of a gross feel to it challenging you to reach the top of the leader board with your expert, but yucky, scab-picking efforts to get to the many scab-picking achievements — so, how many scabs does it take to fill your jar? iScab iPhone App Developers Description

iOS iPhone
iScab brings back a basic joy of childhood. Years of socialization lead us to pick our scabs in private shame and hide our cherished scab jars from friends and loved ones (What?! You DO have a scab jar don’t you?). Today, with the marvels or technology we can once again pick our scabs with pride. We can fill our scab jars to the brim. And we can do it wherever we are, whenever we want. Scab picking has entered the 21st century!

The easiest way to understand iScab is to think of it as scab version of the Tamagotchi key chain pets from not so long ago. Instead of feeding and petting a virtual pet, you scratch and collect virtual scabs.

iScab is not so much a game as it is a return to a favorite pastime. You can also compete with the world to see if you can fill 3 full jars the fastest. That’s a worthwhile pursuit. But really… it’s all about the picking!

iScab is the only scab simulator to allow you to choose from different skin colors or photograph your own skin!

How it works:

• Pick at scabs as they randomly appear
• Carefully pick at the parts of scabs that are healed underneath.
• After picking, the area beneath the scab will begin to heal. In a few hours it will start itching and notify you the scab needs to be picked again.
• Avoid over-picking! If you over-pick it will take longer to heal and collect new scabs.
• The trick is finding the right balance. You want to pick scabs enough to speed their healing without over-picking and causing the scabs to heal slower.
• Impress your signification other by filling your scab jars up the fastest, unlocking achievements, and finding special scabs
