This “GTD” app provides too many features to list, but for you type “A” folks this app is sure to please. The LifeTopix app opens to an agenda view featuring all things important: immediately, tomorrow and up to the next 7 days. There is also a “Hot List” for those checklists, projects, (etc.) that need to take precedent, so it’s deserving of its very own tab. The Hotlist checklist feature has both quick and full task entry mode for additional tasks to be added. But, the core functionality of this Productivity app are the 12 Life Topics that allow you to fully track your projects, finances, health, tasks, calendars, education, medication schedule, workouts, online media, notes, and much, much more.

This application essentially allows you to keep your life organized all in one place and LifeTopix features the best calendar app (inside the larger LifeTopix app) that I’ve come across for the iPhone or iPad to date. This calendar app seamlessly synced with my Microsoft Exchange calendar, additionally tracking my tasks with immediate over the air updates. This app also takes information from iCal, Reminders (etc.) and integrates it into your agenda, which for those creatures of habit, allows you to continue using your iCal, Reminder app, Microsoft Exchange app at work and find all of that information within this application. There is also a calendar selection screen that allows you to select which calendars you would like to sync with the main calendar inside this app.

Beyond being the best calendar app, this app also plays nice with other apps like Gmail web services, Evernote, DropBox, ToodleDo and many others allowing for information sharing, more so than any other GTD app I have come across. LifeTopix also allows you to set, track, and conquer goals.

New Year’s 2013 is coming up and we all know what that means — New Year’s Resolutions. This app easily allows you to track trips to the gym, yoga workouts, and a number of other activities with an Activity Log featuring pre-made templates to track your tasks. There is also a variety of ways to track your progress: list view, plot, chart, and bar graph views to keep you inspired and on track. There is also a quick access button that allows for quick addition to the activity log so your not spending more time using the app than working out.

The LifeTopix iPhone and iPad Productivity app may take you a few minutes to setup at first, but once you’re done with the initial setup this app is super easy to use and worth the extra minutes. You can also sync a wide number of ways including iCloud, so all your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touches always provide you the same information. There is even a free Mac app called LifeTopix AirAccess that allows you to sync your iPad or iPhone with your Mac.

LifeTopix is a power-house GTD app to help you stay on top of everything useful, from shopping, kids’ schedules, medications, education, bills to pay, travel, and more — all in one app that also features the best calendar app inside another app.
