Minigore 2: Zombies Review with Video

John Gore is back with some screwed up friends in Minigore 2: Zombies, for the iPhone and iPad. Mountain Sheep delivers another “wickedly awesome” dual stick shooter with 300 challenges, 20 characters, 60 different enemies, 7 Bosses, and some secrets I can’t tell you about! The original Minigore iPhone game came out way back in July 2009, in the early days of the iTunes App Store, and right away this app was a hit. It was one of the first arcade shooter games to take advantage of the iPhone’s new technology. The original game features John Gore, a square-headed-no-nonsense tough guy. While the first game was good, it was a bit on the difficult side. Minigore 2: Zombies on the other hand is everything a dual stick game player could want. It has tons of levels, playable (and at times weird) characters, upgradeable unique weapons, and loads of game areas that can be unlocked by leveling up.

Minigore 2: Zombies is sure to become an iTunes App Store classic, easily one of the top, if not the #1, dual stick shooter game currently. I played as John Gore, Zombieville Dude, and Jerry Gore, an apparent crazy relative of John’s who has a previous military background and some mental problems. Most playable characters rip off funny one-liners as they hack, saw, and shoot their way through the ridiculous amounts of insanely familiar zombies. You will see zombie cameos from the Bike Baron, Zombieville Dude (yes, he plays both sides of the fence), and others that make this game that much better. There are also some significant bosses in this game like the feared Grim Reaper. He is aloof, but nasty and you will have to reign him in to cross him off your completed challenge list.

Minigore 2: Zombies is by far my favorite dual stick zombie shooter game and has so much on the upside that there is really no reason not to purchase this Minigore game!
