New Year’s Eve App – New Year Countdown!! iPhone, iPad, Android

New Year Countdown‼ is a nice FREE New Year’s Eve countdown app that features 4 different default New Year’s Eve backgrounds, and has multiple settings for counting down to 2013. This app works on the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and for the Android there is a version called New Year Countdown Widget. This app and widget has different settings (font style, font color, background color) all for a moveable banner that provides the days, hours, minutes and seconds to keep you updated of the dwindling time on New Year’s Eve.

Besides the banner customization you can also customize the background with your own images, as well as the moveable banner (iOS devices) or widget (Android devices). Your New Year’s Eve countdown images can also be saved to your camera roll for sharing, and you are supposed to be able to share to Facebook and Twitter, but I could not get the Facebook part to work. You can obviously just use the native iOS or Android photo app to share your pictures from this New Year’s Eve countdown app. This app was recently updated for New Year’s Eve 2012, and now features in app purchase content (IAP) that allows much more functionality, customization and a slideshow background feature that shows off pictures while this New Year’s Eve countdown app is tick-tocking it’s way to 2013.
