Safe iPhone App….Protect Sensitive Information, Pictures and More!

Safe for the iPhone and iPod touch is more than just an app to store passwords. In fact, with it you can store credit card numbers, usernames and passwords, pictures, bank account info, different user accounts, addresses, and just plain old text. One big (and obvious) concern I had about this app (and other apps like it) was that the developer could be using it to gather people’s information to hack their accounts or sell their information. So, I first contacted Apple asking them if this is possible. They of course replied with a very general statement and directed me to one of their links about privacy. Then I emailed the developer who assured me that there is no internet connection between the app and them. So, they said it is safe. Now, of course the app is password protected. On the main screen once you are in the app you can add a new category of information which you are about to input. You can name the category anything you like and then choose from one of their (about 31) preset icons to help you distinguish which folder you are entering. You can then easily proceed to entering the sensitive information or private pictures that you want. You can swipe to delete a category as well. There is also a search feature so you can search through all the information you have entered to pinpoint exactly what you are looking for. It claims that everything is encrypted in 256-bit AES. Overall, it is a great way to store private/sensitive information and to keep it organized. I recommend it, check it out! Slimothy
