Seek and Destroy with iDamaged!

iphone app reviews

iDamaged, by The Red Thing, is an action-shooter game where you are in control of a walking robotic-gunship annihilating every enemy in your path with a plethora of weapons at your disposal. The robotic gunship is reminiscent of ED-209 from the movie RoboCop — but packs way more firepower than the ED-209 could ever dream of. The plot is similar to all good and evil battles and in iDamage you are the good guy trying to defeat the invading enemies, who come at you by both land and air.

The variety of weapons already mentioned include: lasers, missiles, mini-guns, as well as support like air strikes and ion cannons. There are also shields and coolant to help your robot to be more protected and shoot for a longer timeframe. My favorite power up, and I hate to say it because I’m not sure how I got it, is the stealth shield. I can only imagine it came from the shield power up (as I never saw the word “stealth”) because when this is enacted, you become invisible with only your weapons being fired visible — freaking cool. Nothing is more exhilarating than using napalm, guided missiles and mini guns at the same time. iDamaged is a great game for the iPhone and will be even better with the more level gameplay that is already in development.
