The Great Pumpkin Festival-Free Halloween Android App Fun

Have some free Halloween fun with The Great Pumpkin Festival Android app. This FREE Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang app features an avatar creator, pumpkin carving challenges, and a pumpkin guessing game — all providing for a fun and Free Halloween treat. Being a huge Charlie Brown and Peanuts’ fan myself, it wasn’t difficult for me to get into the Halloween excitement with this Android Brain & Puzzle application. It’s funny that the app had some mixed ratings on Google Play, but I had a good experience while creating or updating my avatar, carving a pumpkin (really drawing) and browsing others’ pumpkins. This app is only a portion of the iOS and Android app It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, but the book app does not have the pumpkin guessing game — at least not at the time that I checked out the iPad Books app.

The Great Pumpkin Festival app actually synced my iPad avatar, which I created when using it in the iPad for It’s A Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, but I had fun updating my avatar with a new look. You can use candies and coins which come free, but can be purchased through in app purchase if you want. However, if you carve a few pumpkins and guess a few pumpkins correctly, you should not have to spend any money, and there are a load of free clothing items to trick out your avatar — apparently, 1 Billion (with a B) different combinations. Once you have your avatar squared away you can go carve a pumpkin. Here you get 10 pumpkins a day to carve and they all have words for you to carve. For example: if you select the word “baseball” you would carve or draw a baseball into your pumpkin, and when you upload, you earn candies. And, if others like your carving you can get more candies for those likes.

The last part of this festive application is the browsing feature where you can go browse other people’s pumpkin creations and play a guessing game trying to figure out what word the pumpkin carving or picture is trying to explain. I found my avatar and pumpkin creation, and also found out that a lot of people are using this app tonight as well, but then again — it is Halloween, so be safe and enjoy whatever activity you choose to celebrate this full moon/fall night.
