Water Wars (by Spin Island LLC.) is a water combat game where you must use strategy and your 5 available military crafts to destroy your opponent’s ships and aircrafts, while avoiding deadly obstacles to become the winner. This FREE iPad game comes with 1 map unlocked for local 2 player gameplay or social gameplay (2 player) through Game Center with friends or random challengers. The objective is to be the last player standing. This turn-by-turn game works with the first player drawing a quick swipe line using the touch screen (must be a straight line) to move, in this case the battleship, as this is the first vehicle both players start with. Each additional move by each individual player is to ultimately pass over the colored spot on your opponent’s 5 vehicles (one at a time) to blow them up. No matter the vehicle size, each can take out the other as long as the line goes through the colored circle on that vehicle.

The combat vehicles are ships, a jet fighter, and a helicopter. The flying vehicles (jet and helicopter) can fly over islands; however, the ships cannot and will blow up if they come into contact with the islands. The jets can fly over the islands; however, no vehicles can touch any homebase bunker or they will explode. There are wormholes to make things a little more interesting, but all in all, this game comes down to drawing good lines and movement strategy. There are additional challenging maps that can be purchased for $0.99 — and more maps are on the way. Water Wars is a strategic water combat game with no where to hide and nothing safe to touch. Water Wars is a combat game play on water. Attack and destroy your opponent’s aircrafts and ships by swiping with your finger across the screen to draw a straight attack line. If your attack line crosses the center of the opponent’s ship or aircraft, their ship or fighter jets is destroyed in an explosive ball of flames.

If you’re a fan of fighting games, war games or other types of battle games, you will love Water Wars. The game is played between two players either using the same iPad, or played remotely using game center. Each player is assigned 5 different aircrafts and ships at the start of the each game.
