It’s easy to figure out “how to do” just about everything when you have the eHow app for the iPhone and iPad. This iOS Universal Reference app is the counterpart to the website. You know the one, the one with the expert “how to do everything” community. And now you can dive into the same vast pool of helpful information using this handy app. The eHow app contains millions of useful articles to help you accomplish the little and big things you’re unsure of.

This Free Reference app comes with a lot of well written and relatively short articles pertaining to everyday life. The eHow app covers many topics of interest. You’ll find a list of random “Featured” articles upon opening the app. There are informative articles on food, diet, shopping, beauty, health, money, your home, and more. And all featured articles appear to be relevant to the current season.

The mass of eHow articles are contributed by a variety of freelance writers who write about what they know. Along with each article in this eHow app are hyperlinked websites in the “Reference” section so that you can check out sources of information for each article as well.

The eHow app is pretty simple to use. The main navigation is set up with quick tabs for easy access: Featured, Search, Food, Home and More. I did a search on “caring for gardenias” and received 28 articles to sift through. I also found articles for every other search term I typed in. While looking through this app, I found several articles of interest in the Food and Home sections that I favorited for later reading as well.

The “More” button is where you’ll find the rest of the categorized “how to” articles in this handy DYI app: Family, Health, Money, and Style. By the way, this eHow app provides an Instapaper function, which is a free web service that saves articles for you for later reading. You can even share your eHow app articles with others through email or Facebook within this app.

Overall, the eHow app is a nice, easy and free resource to help you get quick answers when you need it. So now you don’t have to sit back and wonder how something is done, with the eHow app, you’ll find out how to get it done.
