However, for the airport feature you will have to purchase the FlightBoard feature for an additional $3.99 through in app purchase (IAP). While this app is definitely a premium priced app, the convenience, time saved, and connecting flights made can be priceless information at your fingertips.

The FlightBoard feature is really great and shows you a virtual digital display of the arrival and departure boards that you would see at the airports. This feature also remembers airports you use in a queue for quick airport access. In addition, this Travel app features over 16,000 airports and 1,400 airlines ensuring you the most flight information of any flight tracking travel application available. Other features include weather information for departing and arrival cities, Tripit, iCloud, and Calendar sync, as well as several sharing features.

Overall, FlightTrack Pro is a fantastic and convenient app for the traveler, and one that I’ll be keeping on my iPhone and iPad. An additional upside to this application is that it has been updated no less than 32 times since its original launch in 01/2009. And another bonus is that the price has never been increased. Thank you to the developer. Plus, this app is also available for Android devices for a bargain price of only $4.99.
