Fun Zombie App – Zombie Evil for Android (Video)

iPhone owners may be a bit bummed this holiday season because they can’t play the Zombie Evil zombie app like Android owners can.

Zombie Evil is a Free Android Arcade and Action zombie app that is packed with very reasonable free-to-play zombie shooter fun. This is more or less a Castle Defense/casual shooter game where you are pummeled with wave after wave of zombies. Your zombie app hero is nicely hidden behind sandbags at the bottom of the screen (or game board) while the zombies descend upon him from the top and sides. The 3 difficulty modes (Easy, Hard, and Nightmare) provide for a lot of zombie head popping gameplay, but this is a freemium game and you may have to pay a bit to play.

I have not paid out any cash yet, but it looks as if you will be hit in the pockets to upgrade your Damage and Guardian’s Damage, as well as buy other weapons. I have not gotten too far into the game yet, and will be cutting a zombie app video review for Zombie Evil, but from my first look at this game it plays awesomely on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. This zombie app features 14 firearms to take out zombies through the 126 levels in 3 world maps across 21 scenes — very nice. The graphics are crisp, the game speed is very responsive and the controls are touch-to-shoot easy, dragging your finger around the screen to shoot. The only downside to the controls are that my finger covered my hero, and I had a bit of a hard time executing the 90 degree shooting.

Zombie Evil is a blast of a zombie app to play and free for the Android. So enjoy an early Christmas present with this app. Sorry iPhone and iPad owners, you are either out of luck on this one or will have to wait until FT Games gets this on the iTunes App Store.
