Being a fan of most iPhone zombie games, I found Earn to Die (by Not Doppler) to be quite invigorating. However, after a few levels I started to become a bit bored. Why? Because I kept running out of fuel, which is a key part of the game strategy. However, after playing a bit longer I was no longer bored, figured out I had to “earn to play” and now I craved the many upgrades for my orange Mustang such as Boost, Gun, Metal Zombie Killer, Gear Box upgrade, Engine upgrade, and Fuel Capacity upgrade.

This game features 3 game modes: Story, Free Ride, and Championship Ride (which allows you to challenge friends), the later 2 must be unlocked to play. This game originated from the very popular free online game, which I quickly checked out and appears to be just as much fun as well. Your objective in this game is to go from one zombie safe haven to the next using (unlocking) the 8 different vehicles ranging from a car, microbus, school bus, to awesome heavy truck all of which can be outfitted with some extras to help you go the distance as well as cut through the never-ending hoards of zombies — like a hot knife through butter.

Earn to Die for the iPhone is a zombie hit-and-run masterpiece that is well worth the money.
